I am currently “nesting” for all of my kids, spouses/fiancés and only grandchild to fly into the Fort for the week of Thanksgiving. Also coming is my 87 year old mother who just moved to Naples in August. With my son’s family living in Brazil, my middle child a daughter in Seattle and youngest daughter in NYC, it’s a big deal (and ordeal! ) to get everyone home at once. I set the table last week, because I am so excited.
As the darling retired priest said at my beloved aunt’s funeral about 20 years ago, “nothing is more important in life than relationships”. I have never forgotten that because I knew it was true to me as soon as he said it. That is the best part of life. So this Thanksgiving I hope you get to truly enjoy your loved ones. I’m so grateful for my family and friends and all the wonderful clients this year that supported my business efforts and became new friends.
